About Us

Honky-tonk, cowboy hats and beer create an unbeatable combination at the legendary Longhorn Saloon.  The Longhorn Saloon is keeping alive its long time tradition as one of Fort Worth's favorite bars.

Fort Worth's most historic saloon & dancehall is located on Exchange Ave. in the heart of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

Come on out to the Fort Worth famous Longhorn Saloon to enjoy our large hardwood dance floor, cold beer, great concert entertainment, live music, pool tables, great food and the best nightly drink specials in Fort Worth. We only feature the best in live music and entertainment. With something going on every night of the week.

The Longhorn Saloon was originally built in 1910 at the corner of Ellis Avenue and West Exchange Ave..  It was part of a thriving local scene that had little notion it would evolve into one of Americas most visited and famous Historic Districts (Stockyards).

The Longhorn Saloon has undergone many changes over the years but retains its original western flavor with the cowboy/rodeo ambiance.

The flavor today comes from its owners love and passion for the rodeo business.  As a former contestant and producer, he has turned a honky-tonk bar room into a rodeo cowboy museum.  One can only imagine the greats of rodeo leaning on the bar after an exciting night at the Ft. Worth Stock Show Rodeo.  Located two blocks west of the Cowtown Coliseum the Longhorn still reverberates with "Cowboy Attitude" four nights a week.

Featuring some of the area’s top musicians, along with the occasional national touring acts, the Longhorn stands as one of Cowtown’s top musical venues.  We can brag a little as we have played host to Hank Williams Sr. and Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and remain the second largest concert venue next to Billy Bob's Texas.

We are not just a Texas honky-tonk, but also a great place to dine.  Located in the heart of the Ft. Worth Stockyards National Historic District only three doors down from Miss Molly's with lots of restaurants, hotels and retail outlets nearby, you can't go wrong with a night out on West Exchange.

Come join us as we keep "Honky-Tonk the way it was meant to be".
